POSITION SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE:

This position is responsible for assisting in building registration sites within the company-selected software/registration tool and ensuring the system is designed and functions according to client expectations in support of client meetings and events. This position is also responsible for managing data and customer service for attendees of events managed by SHW and clients. This includes all aspects of attendee data, reporting and proper handling of data and customer service to each attendee.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Management

  • Collaborate and communicate with the client to ensure timelines for registration are met

  • Work closely with the event staff to understand client values and expectations

  • Attend weekly event-specific meetings to ensure program is on-track and meeting client expectations

  • Manage customer correspondence per company and client guidelines as specified by SHW process and customer expectations

  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships and provide feedback when requested

  • Collaborate with other departments for overall event success

  • Work with Registration Manager to resolve contract, hotel, client, personnel, technology, data issues in a timely manner

  • Ensure PII and PCI standards are upheld

  • Thorough understanding of payment processing

    • Ensure all program deposits, milestones and final invoicing are completed in timely manner for all assigned programs. Back up the Registration Manager in this area

  • Resolve problems in a positive and efficient manner

  • Ability to lead others through stressful situations under tight timeframes

Quality Assurance

  • Assist on programs when and where needed

    • Work with attendees regarding their registration needs

    • Support housing management for up to 2,000 attendees

    • Support transportation management and security data and detail for attendees

    • Support registration system build costs and change control

    • Support onsite setup and management

    • Help generate and post reports based upon client needs

    • Ensure compliancy with client regulations at all times

  • Resolve problems in a positive and efficient manner

    • Be a towering example of great customer service

    • Ensure delivery of commitments and meet all program deadlines

    • Attention to details; complete work 100% with 100% DOCKSIDE values

    • Focus on and manage PII and PCI components at all times

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree, preferred

  • Minimum three years of data management, registration and customer service experience

  • Quick thinker and creative problem solver who can deliver on time and within budget

  • Attention to detail; strong organizational, project and time management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment

  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook, required

  • Strong proficiency with website, database, customer reporting tools

  • Schedule may require flexibility and travel; long hours/weekends are mandatory at times

  • Ability to work alone and be a self-starter
