With 9 global offices and remote employees in more than 80 countries, this internet company values regular face-to-face all-company meetings for their community, but recognizes the logistical challenges of bringing all those people together.
Every six months, the company arranges for about 1,400 Mozillians to travel to a different destination for a fun and energetic week of brainstorming, coding, and collaboration.
The SHW Way
Since first engaged by the client in 2013, SHW has traveled with the company for its twice-yearly "All Hands" internal meetings, in such cities as Brussels, Toronto, Orlando, and London. Each program requires unique, creative planning and a collaborative team dynamic, building on data and lessons learned from previous programs – including navigation of cultural business differences in other parts of the world.
SHW’s ongoing involvement in the conferences includes supporting Mozilla's planners in researching locations and hotels, negotiating contracts, and managing room blocks; event registration, including administering visa entry requirements; venue management; transportation and staffing logistics; and food & beverage management.
As a long-time partner in producing these events, SHW understands the client’s culture and goals very well, and can apply learnings for future conferences before the next one begins.
